The Process
A steel screw is generally used where the soil profile is not strong enough to support a building. The installation method of a screw pile is quite simple.
With the use of an excavator with a hydraulic drive motor attached, the screw pile is screwed into the soil through any poor soil, until it finds a strong profile capable of supporting the structure. Once the screw pile is installed, a cut off height is determined by using the information from the architectural plans that has the pile working with the concrete slab or attached to a bearer depending on the build method to give the building a very solid base that will be guaranteed to last over 50 years.
